Our own Los Angeles residence in Northeast LA, designed by architect Weather Projects, became a chance to explore what it means to design a home as a renter. The architect’s thoughtful design and refined finishes gave the house a truly fabulous foundation — our role was simply to build upon that work.

Through smart space planning, layered design objects, and custom furnishings, we set out to prove that even temporary spaces can feel permanent and deeply personal. Every piece was chosen as an investment, versatile enough to move and adapt from home to home while still anchoring this space with warmth and character.

The result is a thoughtful, design-forward rental transformation that balances adaptability with lasting style. This project was recently featured on Dwell, highlighting how Studio Hanego brings creativity and intention to every residential interior.
